Malaria Eradication and Healthcare Services
With Air-ticket Solidarity Contribution from KOICA, LHF has been implementing Malaria Eradication project since 2010. Malaria is one of the most serious disease, especially in Africa, Malawi, taking away precious life every 30 seconds.
LHF is under the process for achieving decrease in malaria infection and mortality rate through diverse projects by building basic medical infrastructure. LHF operates health care, provides medical care, installs SMNet*, IRS, distributes LLIN,  and most importantly, trains and educate local health personnel in order to set self-reliant environment.
SMNet* : LHF has introduced new self-developed net system to block mosquito and other harmful insects that may threat life of people suffering from malaria. The SMNet is recognized as effective method to prevent malaria and presents new mean to overcome limits.
